Tips for a successful scholarship search
- Create accounts and multiple websites and check those accounts regularly.
- Assign one day a week to fill out scholarship applications.
- Order your transcripts and request your letters of recommendation EARLY (at least three weeks before the deadline).
- Make connections with local church and fraternity leaders and ask them if there are scholarships they know of.
- Make sure to check out scholarships that your college/universities may offer
- STAY AHEAD OF DEADLINES.
- Have a strong essay that can be reworked as needed.

- Scholarships.com--- similar to fastweb, this search engine also requires you to make an account and includes a high volume of scholarships. Make sure to check it regularly if you make an account

11. Running Spreadsheet of Scholarship
National/Prestigious Scholarship Programs
These scholarship deadlines are in the fall or in December/January. They generally take more time to complete because there will be letters of recommendation and essays required. They are generally looking for students who have GPAS >3.2 and ACT > 22.
